About our kennels

Dikerdachs Kennels is located in New York. We breed, show and sell miniature long-haired dachshund puppies. Young adult champions available to select homes occasionally.

Valerie Diker, owner of Dikerdachs Kennels, New York has earned the title of AKC Breeder of Merit.

Dikerdachs dachshunds are BISS Champions, multiple Group Winners, and Best of Variety at Westminster Kennel Club! Her champions have been in the Top 8 since 2007.

Dikerdachs Kennels has been an AKC-registered kennel since 1991. Valerie is a member of the Dachshund Club of America (DCA) and the National Mini Dachshund Club (NMDC). Valerie is also a trustee of the Knickerbocker Dachshund Club of New York.

Dikerdachs believes in careful breeding, precise care of the mother in whelp, and continuing, professional care of the new pups from the time they are whelped until they are weaned and placed in specially chosen homes or prepared for show.

Our reputation is built on breeding for perfect health, outgoing, affectionate personalities, and exceptional conformation.

Our dachshunds are raised by hand, well socialized, paper-trained by Valerie, in her home.

We offer extensive, ongoing support to owners of Dikerdachs puppies and “young adults.”

Dikerdachs dogs are raised under constant, professional veterinary care.

We offer boarding and grooming to Dikerdachs-bred dogs when owners are away .

We offer grooming to Dikerdachs dogs.

We are fortunate to be recommended by three of the leading veterinarians in NYC and Westchester. They have firsthand experience with Dikerdachs puppies and young adults.

My handsome Oskar remains a bundle of love. People constantly stop me to swoon over him. He’s the best!
